There are of course also quite a few books from both the right and the left predicting a world wide crash/recession (post 2008), and with China clearly having slowed down and its stock market basically in some type of crises and (by 16 January) 2016 apparently the worse start ever to a year for the US stock markets and that besides other emerging markets that the crises might finally be here and without trying too hard to prognosticate myself but it might be the duration of it that might bring some changes.

This book is about some mainly commonsense economics in order to end and for for life hopefully without a Fed.
- Interest economics and especially the interplay of interest rates, inflation and the strength of the currency. And even though economics can get tricky at times and that there are some different views and opinions but it is all done in mostly plain speak and layman's terms (grace included) so that the book might also be useful for some senior homeschoolers.

KJV - Libertarianism might also be an appropriate description of the book's worldview.
- And to adapt a well known quote/saying for the book - that it is mainly about the market dummy.

- gold as legal tender, but without a gold standard?

- some of the differences between the left and right – including a speculation that Cain might be a candidate to have been the first human leftist (Cain’s city is also briefly speculated about in two end time books)

- two likely factors according to Aristotle that might be required to end an oligarchy

- the title of the book is derived from the phrase, the wisdom of the market - but if you haven't read the book you basically wouldn't really know, right? and for laypersons and professors alike


(An opinion/view only added here) and for some might seem a bit old fashioned - but with a basic view of currencies - what they are and how they might work - that some other new pseudo if not ponzi currencies (coins) might basically be viewed, and similar to the Fed, as only having a free ride on the back of the dollar. And if implied that it might actually replace the dollar, then eventually, surely or presumably everybody including banks and the financial sector would be using it as the dollar is today, except if one has an electronic component or maybe many components one might be allowed to "mine" some money for one self? Basically today known as fraud or counterfeiting, although again except for the Fed.
